GB/T 250 Grey Scale for assessing Change in color. Compare the origin specimen and finished specimen with the grey scale visually to rating. When the color differences is equivalent to the level of grey scale, the colorfastness of specimen is equal to the level of the grey scale.

Description GB/T 250 Grey Scale

A gray scale card for assessing discoloration is not only suitable for determining the color fastness of textiles, but also for determining the ability of any object to be affected by various environmental conditions during processing and application.

The greater the ability, the smaller the change in color. In the five-level and nine-speed gray card, the fifth level is the best, indicating that there is no color difference in visual inspection, and the color fastness is the best.

The gray Scale card for assessing staining is not only suitable for detecting the degree of staining of the fixed lining fabric, but also for determining the degree of staining of any white matter.

Note:
The gray Scale sample card will change during storage or use and the chromaticity data of each grade will deviate from the standard range.
Pay attention to regular verification and replacement. Otherwise it will affect the accuracy of the assessment.

Application:

This gray Scale card is suitable for the color fastness rating of textiles in GB, ISO, AATCC, DIN, BS, JIS, EN standards.

Precautions for use:
1. Keep the gray card clean.
2. Always check the gray card for fingerprints.
3. If the imprint has been found to interfere with the rating, the gray card must be replaced.
4. Try to avoid mechanical damage caused by touch.
5. If mechanical damage interferes with the rating, it should be replaced.
6. After the gray card is used up, put it into the sleeve.
